Alexander First Nation Wyatt was born and raised on the Alexander First Nation and comes from a family of 4 other siblings. Wyatt’s family background would link him directly to Chief Catchestawayskum who is the founding Chief of the Alexander First Nation making him a fourth generation descendant. Wyatt is married and has 7 children and three grandchildren. Wyatt has numerous nieces and nephews whom he loves to spend time with.

Wyatt has been employed with the Alexander First Nation since the early 80’s and has experienced many trades and professions during his employ. Of the many opportunities provided to him by his employers he was able to attend many training opportunities within North America, training that would assist him in advancing his community.

  • Responsible for the adherence and maintenance of the Alexander First
    Nation – 1905 Treaty Land Entitlement Policies and Procedures
  • Responsible to the Trustees of the Alexander First Nation – 1905 Treaty
    Land Entitlement, ensuring that regular meetings are conducted
  • Pursue the purchase of lands adjacent to the Alexander First Nation
    increasing the land base
  • Maintain an inventory of all land purchases and property acquired
  • Ensure that the property purchased is maintained and managed accordingly
  • Create and maintain an annual budget for the operations of the TLE
    process
  • Maintain a consistent and proactive approach to resources invested by the Trustees insuring a positive annual return consistent with established
    Investment Policy Statement
  • Coordinate annual community meetings for Investment Managers to
    present updates to members
