For the past 17 years, Mr. Pillipow has provided advice to First Nations on a wide variety of matters, particularly Specific and Treaty Rights Claims under the Federal Government’s Specific Claims Policy. Mr. Pillipow has represented and assisted numerous First Nations in Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba with settling their Treaty Land Entitlement and Specific Claims. As part of these settlements he has drafted numerous trust agreements and has assisted with the implementation of these trust agreements. Mr. Pillipow has appeared before the Indian Claims Commission on a number of inquiries, including the Kawacatoose Outstanding Treaty Land Entitlement and Kahkewistahaw 1907 Surrender Inquiries.
