NANCY HAGER
Councilor
First Nation of Na Cho Nyak Dun
Nancy Hager was born and raised in Mayo, Yukon. She is a Crow Clan member of Na Cho Nyak Dun First Nation.
Nancy raised two sons, Kent and Kevin who are both pursuing their career and raising their families in the Yukon and Calgary Alberta. She has four grandchildren who she dotes on.
Nancy has been a Crow Councilor for the Na Cho Nyak Dun Government since 2005. She assisted as Na Cho Nyak Dun Council in the development and implementation of both the investments and Business Trust for the First Nation.
Prior to this, Nancy as Chair of the Training Policy Committee for Council of Yukon First Nations in 1989 helped to set up 16 first nations investments. This was also done with Yukon Government and Federal Government committee members. She was chair for ten years and this committee is still thriving today.
Nancy was in the education field since 1983, as Education and Training
Coordinator. She sat on various committees in the education and training areas
locally, regionally and nationally.
Nancy, as a Councilor for Na Cho Nyak Dun Government believes investments
are part of the everyday business activities and done right, everyone benefits,
protecting our future endeavours.
