Jim started his career as a value investor at OMERS in 1987 as a senior equity analyst. He became a portfolio manager in 1989. That was followed by a portfolio management role at Ontario Teachers Pension Plan Board. Prior to joining Lincluden in 2003, Jim was a Vice-President and Partner at Beutel Goodman where he was a portfolio manager and member of the Canadian equity team. His background includes managing both Canadian and non-domestic equity portfolios across the capitalization range. Jim’s previous work experience includes accounting and banking. At Lincluden, he has Canadian and foreign equity research and portfolio management responsibilities for Financials and the Consumer Discretionary sectors. He also serves as a co-chair of the Asset Mix Committee.
