JOE GABOURY

Joe Gaboury is the Chief Executive Officer of Attawapiskat Resources Inc. (ARI)
and is also Co-Manager of the Attawapiskat First Nation. ARI is a company that
was created by the Attawapiskat First Nation to handle the business opportunities
arising from the Impact Benefit Agreement that was signed between DeBeers
Canada and the Attawapiskat First Nation. The long term strategy of ARI is to use
this opportunity to build business capacity within the community and create a solid
economic foundation to allow for future growth. Joe is past Treasurer of the Board
of the Native Canadian Centre of Toronto, and past Treasurer of the Board of the
Nippissing First Nation Economic Development Corporation. Joe has been in his
current role for over to two years and prior to taking on this role; he worked in the
power generation industry for close to 16 years. Joe is a member of the
Matachewan First Nation. He holds a Masters of Business Administration Degree
from the Edinburgh School of Business, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics
from Laurentian University, and he is a Certified General Accountant.
