Clint is the President and CEO of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business.
The CCAB is committed to enhancing the participation of Aboriginal people in the
Canadian economy.
Clint has a Bachelors of Business Administration from Acadia University, a
Bachelors of Laws from Dalhousie University and a Masters of Public
Administration from Harvard University. He is a Canada-U.S. Fulbright scholar
and a recipient of two scholarships from the National Aboriginal Achievement
Foundation.
Clint has a diverse professional background. He was a lawyer in St. John’s,
Newfoundland and Labrador with a mid-sized firm. He entered the public service
at the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development Canada where he served as an Analyst in land claim negotiations in British Columbia and later as a Senior Advisor to the Minister. Clint was a Senior Analyst with the federal
Treasury Board Secretariat before joining BMO Bank of Montreal. He was
appointed the National Director for Aboriginal Banking at BMO in July 2005, where his team built the book of business to over $1B.
In 2002, Clint created, designed and organized an executive leadership program for Canadian Inuit leaders at Harvard University. In 2004, he was recognized by the Canadian Council of Aboriginal Business as a future young Aboriginal business leader in Canada.
